The Magnolia Tree

Every life has a story worth telling.

Years ago, I planted five magnolia trees, each one with the hope that it would grow strong and beautiful.

Only one survived.

At first, I found myself focusing on the four that were lost.

But over time, God gently changed my perspective.

Instead of seeing what was missing, He taught me to cherish what remained.

Today, when I look at my magnolia tree, I no longer see what was lost.

I see grace.

I see faithfulness.

I see quiet strength.

In many ways, my own journey has been much like that tree.

Through seasons of joy, disappointment, rebuilding, and hope, God has continued to grow something beautiful in my life.

The devotionals, journals, and books you'll find here have grown from those same seasons.

My prayer is that as you spend time here, you'll be reminded that no matter what life has looked like, God's grace is still growing something beautiful in you.
